How to Make Air Fryer Pork Burnt End Nachos
Before we start making our nachos it is important to note that my air fryer is a function on my oven. Because I am using my oven I am able to cook everything in one batch. If you are using a countertop air fryer you may need to cook in batches. Cook times might also vary due to the difference in sizes so make sure to keep an eye on things! Countertop air fryers tend to cook slightly quicker than an oven function.
First things first, line a sheet pan with a piece of aluminum foil for easy clean up. Trust me you will not want to skip this step! Nothing is harder to clean up than caramelized BBQ sauce. Chop the AdapTable Meals Kansas City Style BBQ Boneless Pork Loin Backrib into 1/2 inch bite size pieces. Arrange the pieces on the lined pan so that they are not touching. Pop this into the air fryer at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes until the edges start to blacken.
When the pork is cooked through and the edges are starting to blacken, pull the pan from the air fryer and generously drizzle over the BBQ sauce. Since we are cooking indoors I recommend a BBQ sauce with a smokey flavor but your favorite will work as well! Use what you have!
Give this a mix to make sure that all sides are covered in sauce and separate the pieces apart again. Pop the pan back into the air fryer and cook it for another 3-5 minutes until the BBQ sauce is nice and glazey.
Set aside the meat for later and remove the aluminum foil from the pan. In a single layer, spread out the tortilla chips. Mix together both cheeses and sprinkle them evenly over the chips. I know I gave a measurement for the cheeses but honestly measure with your heart here! I believe that there is no such thing as too much cheese. The limit just does not exist. Pop the chips into the air fryer for roughly 3 minutes at 400 degrees until the cheese has melted.
Time to Assemble!
First sprinkle over the pico de gallo. Cube both sides of the avocado on to the chips. I am normally a guacamole girl but cubed is the way to go here! Hand tear the cilantro over the chips and add as many jalapeno slices as you’d like. You can use pickled jalapeno slices if you want less of a kick than fresh. Lastly shower the nachos with the pork burnt ends. Serve this immediately for perfect melty cheese pulls and lime wedges on the side for a fresh kick!
